Messing around

My friend, Marc Wong, came along with me on a training ride last year in August. It was my last ride before heading to World Transplant Games 2009.

Tonight I was messing around with one of the photos.

Transplant Games Pictures I am back home for a week and slowly getting adjusted back to the chilly Canadian weather. Here’s a few pictures from the Transplant Games. This is Captain Canada and taken before my 5 km run race. He was standing about a km from the finish line and yelled at me, ‘Cliff, hurry up. He is right behind you.’ I was at the point of slowing down and because...

Transplant Games – Day 3 and 4 Brutal winter weather we are having in Brisbane. It’s 30*C and sunny everyday. Horrible!!! A few days ago saw a few whales splashing in the sea while talking with a roommate on the patio. WOW! All my games are done. Did a 4 by 50 freestyle relay yesterday…try to jump in the pool, more like sink like a rock :DDD. Rode along the coast today...

The Canadian crew was...

The third place was creeping up to me at the end. Someone yelled ‘Cliff, he is behind you’ 400 m from the end. Had to run hard. Didn’t realize I have that in me at the end. – crazy...

Next Stop, Australia! Hey everyone. I am leaving to Australia next Thursday for the Transplant Games. Earlier the month, I received a few shirts for the games. I was very touch when I see the red jacket with Canada etch in the back. I cannot believe I will be representating Canada. I am honor and grateful at the same time. I have been speaking with our team leader and soon I will be joining them...

Toad! I went to the doc last fri to check my toe. He told me I got a wart! He pour some liquid ice on it and told me to come back the next five weeks for treatment to get rid of the bacteria. I asked him if I could train and he told me no problem 🙂 *sigh of relieve* I also managed to get my doc to sign me a note so I can get sport messages and covered by my company’s plan > :).
