Toothless makes you run faster…easier to breathe and less weight 😀 Har har har. I thought that was pretty funny. My friend and I were discussing about this tonight. I was joking how I should remove my other front tooth. This way I have more ventilation and less weight :D. He is surprise that I am quite positive about the incident. I believe the Holy Spirit is at work. I can’t...

Life without training? Is that even possible? I haven’t train for a week. There are a few things I learn: a) I really really miss ice cream. I bought a tub of 2 L Chocolate Mint ice cream on Friday. By Sunday, I have ate 3/4 of it. I figure since I am not training for a month or two I can loosen my diet. Second, I also realize that since my gums are soring, I might as well eat something...

More tooth pain. As much as I hate saying this, I have to delay my training. Today I went out for a 10 km run. Suppose to be a run but it turn out more to be a jog. The knee that I bumped from my bike accident last Sat is giving me some discomfort. That’s something I can deal with. The biggest problem is my tooth pain. There is one tooth in my lower jaw that was chipped and it has turned...

The need to run.
Start working today and I am planning to go for a run today after work. Very glad to be working. At least doing something and not staying at home 🙂 I really want to go jog along the Credit River. So 5-6 more hours to go and I will be there :D.
Went home and fell asleep. Woke up at 10 pm :). I guess work is more tiring than I thought 😀

The ‘Why me’ question, life as a toothless Christian triathlete Picture: That’s my front tooth (chipped) beside a quarter. The impact of the accident knock it right out of my mouth. Please wear a helmet when you bike. I think there is certain point in life when it gets to a point you ask the Why me question. Despite being super positive, there is a part of me that do ask God...

Bike Accident, lost 3 tooth, helmet saved my life. Well, I guess there ain’t no need to worry about running now. This morning I had a bike accident while on the way to the Go station. I was biking along down the sidewalk. As I rode across over a bump, I flipped and fell forward. My face landed on the pavement. I felt the impact (no kidding). As I got up, I realize I am in trouble. I saw my...

Triathlete can’t count.
I just realize my training days are a bit off. I am in my eigthth week and I only train for 30 something days. I should be on my 40th day training. Oh well :).
Note: Yes, triathletes can’t spell either. Maybe that’s just me 🙂

To Go Pro Or Not To Go? I have been thinking about this. Should I go Pro? Ha, just the idea of it is crazy enough. My last tri I did it in 2 hr. To say I have talent, I can’t admit it. I think the best gift that God has given me is the blind determination. To keep going. I was thinking of doing endurance sports as a recreation. But the past 2-3 weeks, I start to wonder what if this is my...
