Ups and downs.
I had an interview yesterday. It is the second interview. It was an hour long. It felt much longer than that.
There were two interviewers, an HR lady and the Project Manager. A lot of questions on soft skills and my previous experiences.
Coming out, I have no clue how it went. I have some good answers and some not so good ones.
Today, they email me that they have selected someone else.
First thought….arghh..
Then slowly, I realize what I need to improve. The experiences I can use. Less slang. Better articulation. Back to the drawing board.
On the other hand, I have a head hunter contacting me today about another position.
The ball keeps rolling…
Sorry you didn’t land the job, Cliff. But I’m a firm believer that things work out the way they do for a reason.
There was a reason you didn’t get THAT job…and it may be becuase you were meant for the next one instead.

It’s always disappointing not to get a job, but most of the time it’s got nothing to do with you and your good qualities and everything to do with them.
I agree with Steven– the right job is still out there waiting for you. Keep having faith, and it will all work out.
