Gospel is simple

Share post ->

Got this from a friend today…

Ya gospel is pretty simple. Love god. Love the poor. Done.

A while ago, I told my friend that to be a Christian is not hard. It is hard because we sometimes think and over think.  We try and make it too complicated.  God doesn’t ask us to think (per say).  He expects us to obey.  He calls, we answer.  He commands and we do.
God expects me to follow.  Not merely knowing every doctrine and every perspective, or know the Greek and study the context without tugging of my heart.  It is simple.  Love God.  Love others.  DONE!
