About this blog

I like to write a little blurb about this website.  I am always fascinated with building websites.  As soon as I got my internet connection back in 1998 (the ancient dial up days) I started learning HTML and building websites.   Since then, the Internet has changed so much.  There are so much cool technology out here.  HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, mobile…so many terms and definitions.

This site is another project where I play with what I always enjoy.

I choose this design because of its simplicity.

  • Simplicity in design.
  • Simplicity in loading times.
  • Simplicity in the same look and feel across phone, tablets and computer.

In order for me to learn the best practice on website development, I need to get my hnads dirty.  Since I love to blog, this website will be my own site to tinker.

Woohoo. I just did a speed test and it is graded 100/100 (7 July 2013)!  You can see the results at http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/bn0pMg/https://clifftam.com
