Jesus You are Worthy

Jesus You are mercy. Jesus You are justice. Jesus You are worthy.

That is what you are.

You die alone to save me. You rose so You can raise me. You did all this to make me, a chosen child of God.

Worthy is the Lamb that once was slain. To receive all glory, power and praise. For with your blood, you purchase us for God. Jesus, You are worthy.

In the storms and darkness, this is the lyrics that I hold on to storms and darkness.

Indeed, You are worthy.

Justice and mercy…

Justice and mercy…meet on the cross.

The world might fall apart. And your bride is in pain.

I will sit and wait for the day of distress.
It is in dire times where it is very very difficult to not be angry, to not judgement, to listen and to be still for the Lord. To mend relationships, to not choose sides, and to give grace and open hand to everyone (especially to those who I don’t agree with)….
You are the one that I cling on to.

The Painful Tension Between Ministry and Family

There was a season when Wai Jia and I attended a missions conference with our two-year-old and our baby. We have always loved missions, so being there stirred something in me again. I remember sitting in that environment and feeling the old desire rise up in my heart. I wanted

Confession of a Stay-At-Home Dad

A Biblical Vision for Christian Fatherhood I never planned to become a stay-at-home dad. If you had asked me years ago what faithful Christian living looked like, I would have said ministry, missions, or serving in church. Not changing diapers. Not managing tantrums. Not slowly climbing stairs with two little kids. But
